getting settled

We arrived at our new home a little bit before noon and started settling in. It is a newly constructed three story building with six, three bedroom apartments. (For those of you that went to RVA and know Kijabe… it is right across the street from the guest house). We live across the hall from a very hospitable family with three kids. Rich is a full time mission surgeon at the hospital and an avid mountain biker (for those of you interested in biking… Kijabe, Kenya happens to be a great place to bike – who knew!). Stacy and her three kids (Adam, Gabby and Lydia) have already been a huge help in our transition.

Ben started work at the hospital on Friday and seems to be right at home with African medicine - enjoying the diversity, responsibility and the challenge of doing lots with little.
